But first..we had to open up some of this..I mean, what’s a Saturday night without wine right??

Last night on the menu: Baby back BBQ ribs, jalapeño mashed potatoes, roasted green beans, zucchini patties, green salad, and a nice loaf of sourdough bread. It was all delicious, but the stand-out was the ribs! This rib recipe was one of my nana’s signature dishes, and my brother’s all-time favorite! She would always finish this meal with some dampened hand towels fresh out of the microwave to sop up all of the BBQ sauce that managed to make its way all over our faces, and unfortunately sometimes our clothes, too!

This is not necessarily the most healthy recipe, but it sure is delicious!

2 slabs of baby back pork ribs

2 cups KC Masterpiece Original BBQ sauce

1 cup orange juice

1/3 cup sherry wine

Preheat your grill or BBQ to high heat. Also, preheat oven to 325 F.

Combine BBQ sauce, orange juice & wine in a medium bowl.

Season ribs with salt + pepper. Place ribs on BBQ and brown for 5-7 minutes, or until ribs develop a nice crust. Coat a roasting pan with cooking spray. Place ribs in roasting pan and spoon sauce over the meat, making sure all of them are covered in sauce. Cover and bake for 1 hour. Remove from the oven, baste with BBQ sauce, and let cool for 10 minutes. Slice into individual ribs and serve!
